[DJ S.co & Kopedale // Ibiza 2006]
I can’t believe how fast time flies. It’s been almost 4 years since it all started. S.co and I haven’t been listening to house music forever, but all we needed was one trip to Ibiza and the obsession was in full swing. We showed up on the island in 2006 with no idea of what to expect. Everything I knew about dance music involved glow sticks and pacifiers, but this place was different. I was expecting trance and raves, but I got clubs and house music. The people around me didn’t need drugs, they were high off the music, and I knew I was witnessing something special. The tracks I heard during those 7 summer Ibiza nights would become the foundation for my taste in house music. Destiny? Maybe. Here are the tracks that changed my life forever.
Switch – A Bit Patchy (Eric Prydz Remix)
Bodyrox – Yeah Yeah (D. Ramirez Mix)
Reflekt feat. Delline Bass – Need To Feel Loved (Seb Fontaine & Ps Type Remix)
Mason – Exceeder (Original Mix)
Royksopp – What Else Is There? (Thin White Duke Mix)
DJ Delicious – Let It Drop (Original Mix)
Wally Lopez – Don’t You (Richard Grey Remix)
Fedde Le Grand – Put Your Hands Up For Detroit (Original Mix)
Gabriel & Dresden – Tracking Treasure Down (Original Mix)
Sebastien Leger & Chris Lake – Aqualight (Original Mix)
Cicada – The Things You Say (Dirty South Remix)
The Egg – Walking Away (Tocadisco Remix)
